Descriptions.

Autumn Bliss. A primocane variety that crops from the end of July until the first frosts in October, although we  have picked some very good fruits as late as 25th November!

Autumn Treasure. Another primocane variety. Has spinefree canes and large fruit. The canes are self supporting together with superb pest and disease resistance. Recommended for organic growing and could be a significant improvement on Autumn Bliss. Expect to be picking mid August to late September.

Joan J. Our third primocane variety and one which could be perfect for amateur growing! Superb flavour and stunning berry size make it second to none for picking and eating. Picking starts end July/early August and carries on for around seven weeks. Fruit freezes exceptionally well. The canes are spinefree.

The three varieties above are all 'primocane' varieties. This means that they will crop on the current years growth and when picking ceases they can be cut down to the ground before the following spring. The varieties below are known as 'floricane' and carry fruit on the previous years growth. So when picking ceases on these varieties all the old fruiting canes can be cut out at ground level leaving the current years new growth to fruit the following year. Got it?!

Glen Lyon. An early/mid season (late June/July picking. A very heavy yeilding variety when grown on fertile soil.

Glen Rosa. High yielding, mid season, spinefree. Picking July and well into August. Good disease resistance and ideal for organic growing.

Octavia. Named after the Roman month of August you'll be picking well into this month. Although the canes have spines the fruit is well presented and crops all the way to the base of the canes.

Tulameen. Produces very attractive, bright, glossy fruit with a distinct conical shape and excellent flavour. The canes are tall (up to 2m) but with few spines. It is worth mentioning that the new canes are late emerging in spring.

Kiwi, variety 'Solo' self fertile. These plants are a fantastic six feet tall, superb quality and just £25.00 each.
